What This Does

  • These processes move Leave from one Leave Job Master to another
  • Enables the user to move one Leave ID to a new job or all Leave IDs to a new job

Requirements

  • Primary Job Change - When an employee's primary job with Leave Allowed is changed, the leave must be moved from the original job number to the new job number; this creates Leave Job Masters for the new job and inactivates the old Leave Job Masters, moving the leave balances to the new job
  • IMPORTANT - 
    • Updated Transactions - All leave transactions associated with the current job must be updated before running these processes
    • Leave Allowed - Employee's new Job Master must have Leave Allowed set to True
    • Previous Job and Leave Job - Previous job and leave job must be active to move from one job to another

Move Leave from One Job to Another

Modules → HR → Leave Management → Maintenance → Change/Set → Move Leave from One Job to Another

  • After all fields are completed click on select and a device window will produce
  • View report and/or print and then cancel report and set flags to update database or cancel if incorrect
  • After this process is run, the original/old Leave Job Master will be marked as inactive


FIELDSOpt.Rec.Req.Description
Personnel ID--Type in the Personnel ID
Fiscal Year--Type in appropriate fiscal year
Current Leave Job Number--Type in current leave job number
New Job Number--Type in new leave job number
Range on Leave Description ID--Recommendation is to move all leave IDs to the same leave job, so this boolean would not be selected; however ranging on a specific leave ID is available
Opt. = Optional  Rec. = Recommended  Req. = Required

Change Jobs - Job Number by Leave ID

Modules → HR → Leave Management → Personnel Demographics 

  • Select employee with new job.  At bottom of Personnel Demographics screen, select Leave → Leave Records 
  • Then select  View All Leave Jobs and Highlight the leave id you want to change
  • Select Change Jobs Job Number by Leave ID
  • Enter the new job number for the Leave ID and Fiscal Year and hit the tab key
  • Click on Select and verify audit report and click cancel
  • Set flags to update database or cancel if incorrect
  • After this process is run, the original/old leave job master will be marked as inactive

Change Jobs - Job Numbers in Mass

Modules → HR → Leave Management → Personnel Demographics

  • Select employee with new job.  At bottom of Personnel Demographics screen, select Leave → Leave Records 
  • Then select  View All Leave Jobs 
  • Select Change Jobs Job Numbers in Mass 
  • Enter the new job number for the Leave ID and Fiscal Year and hit the tab key
  • Click on Select and verify audit report and click cancel
  • Set flags to update database or cancel if incorrect
  • After this process is run, the original/old leave job master will be marked as inactive
