What This Does
- Click Select, and an audit report will produce with all earned and used transactions used to sync the balances; if the report is correct, set flags. Otherwise cancel out to abort the process.
- Once flags are set, both the Leave Master and Leave Job Master will sync to the total transactions
Best Practices
- Updated Amounts - When using any process in the Change/Set section of the Leave Module, verifying that all unprocessed amounts are updated before beginning any change process is the best practice
- Most Accurate - If balances between the Leave Masters and the Leave Job Masters get out of sync where the balances are different and/or incorrect, syncing the balances to the transactions is the most accurate way to correct
- Alternative - If the Leave Job Master balance is correct and only the Leave Master is incorrect, the Sync Leave Masters should be used instead of this process (See Link Below)
- One Employee at a Time - This process should only be used for syncing one employee at a time. Make sure that all leave transactions for the employee are verified and Update Leave Used/Earned has been run prior to running this process
- Review - Review transactions for the employee prior to running this process to determine which transactions should be ranged on to achieve the correct balances
- Inaccurate Balances - If transactions have been deleted or purged, this process will not result in accurate balances
- Undelete Records - Transactions deleted in error can be undeleted, as long as deleted records have not been removed
