What This Process Does


  • Only applicable for organizations using the automated calculation of Leave Docked, whereby transactions are created to reduce employees' pay when their leave Used exceeds their available leave balance.
  • Sets or unsets the Computed and/or Completed flags on Leave Docked transactions.
  • This process is necessary when Leave Docked transactions are set to select in the Payroll Select Jobs in Mass, and undo processes involving leave dock transactions were not completed in the correct order.


Best Practices


  • Before running this process, the transaction(s) should be verified to make sure that it can't be corrected using the normal procedures.
  • It's best to contact an RDA representative to verify if this process should be used.


Set / Unset Dock Flags


  • HR → Leave Management → Maintenance → Change/Set → Set / Unset Dock Flags

Set Completed FlagThis boolean is required to be set to true (checked) if you are needing to set the Completed Flag to true or false; Use the drop-down to indicate whether the boolean should be set to True or False; The Completed flag indicates that the total dock amount has been processed in one or more payrolls and the Dock Value and Dock Amount are the same
Set Computed FlagThis boolean is required to be set to true (checked) if you are needing to set the Computed Flag to true or false; Use the drop-down to indicate whether the boolean should be set to true or false; The Computed flag indicates that the leave dock transaction has been pulled into the Select in Mass and has computed an amount of the dock. The Dock Value field will be populated with an amount
Opt. = Optional  Rec. = Recommended  Req. = Required


Ranging


  • Range appropriately to include only the leave dock transactions for which flags need to be set.
  • Common range options include combinations of:
    • Personnel ID
    • Transaction Number
    • Fiscal Year
    • Starting and Ending Date
  • Select criteria can be checked/unchecked depending on which transactions you want to include.
  • Once Range and Select criteria have been selected, click the cog to select.
  • An audit report will be provided; cancel and set flags to update the database.
