What This Process Does


  • Allows the user to email a report or a document.


Requirements


  • F.A.S.T. Level – You must have F.A.S.T. Level 2 or F.A.S.T. Level 3.

Creating Report (Auto Archive)



  • You can send the report directly to your filing cabinet without printing it to the screen.
  • After you range and run your report, the DEVICE WINDOW screen will appear. Choose your output device to be AUTOARCHIVE. Click Select button.
  • The screen will disappear. Click on your E-Documents and the report should be located at the bottom of the browse list.


Emailing Report



  • Go to the E-Documents where the report is stored. This is determined by which Work Group / Folder you chose. For example, if you chose to store the report in FINMGT, then you would check the filing cabinet in Financial Management.
  • In your filing cabinet, your archived report should be located at the bottom of the browse list (as long as other automatic reports have not been stored since you stored your report).
  • Click on the Email Archive button.
  • All fields must be populated in order to send the email.
  • It is recommended that a test email be sent to your inbox to verify that the email arrives successfully to its destination.

Group Defaults



  • Email addresses can be saved in Group Defaults to avoid typing in full email addresses each time
  • To create a group default, type in the Recipient Name and Email Address
  • Click on Save Defaults
  • In the field to the right of the Directory down arrow, backspace through the user name at the end of the path and type in the name of the group default (Recommend naming it recipient's name)
  • Click on Save
  • To retrieve group default name, click on Reset Group Defaults to the left of the Recipient Name field and select the desired group default with appropriate Email address
