What This Process Does


  • This process allows you to create electronic transfers generated since your last bank statement.


Best Practice


  • Time Period - The user must confirm that any electronic transfer made is added during the correct time period around a particular bank statement.


Add an Electronic Transfer


  1. Finance → Bank Reconciliation → Other Tab → Add Electronic Transfers
  2. Populate applicable fields. Click the Save button when finished.
  3. Upon saving, errors and/or warnings will display if required fields are not populated.


FIELDSOpt.Rec.Req.Description
Bank Identification--The bank where the electronic transfer will be added
Transaction Date--The date the electronic transfer occurred; important if wanting to reconcile by transaction date
Transaction Amount--The amount of the electronic transfer
Reference Number--A number to reference while querying or reconcile an electronic transfer
Reference ID--Recommended that this be the date of the deposit
Reference Name--Recommended that this be the reason for the electronic transfer
Transmittal Route #--The receiving bank's routing number
Account Number--The account number where the funds were transferred
Checking Account--Set to true if the electronic transfer goes to a checking account
Description--Optional description for the electronic transfer
Opt. = Optional  Rec. = Recommended  Req. = Required
