What This Report Shows


  • This report will show balance sheet amounts (assets, liabilities, fund equity) for individual funds.
  • The total fund amount is provided under each column next to each balance sheet line.
  • All assets, liabilities, fund equity and budgetary control amounts are totaled.
  • If you have more than six funds, all other funds will be summarized under Fund 7.
  • Title One and Title Two for fund 7 are the first and second line of the column heading. This column is typically titled Other Funds as it is a summary of all funds not specified on the range screen.


Requirements


  • Each fund that you want to appear on this report must be defined. To define the funds:
    • Finance → Financial Management → Setup → Financial Reporting → Maintain Fund Definitions


G/L by Fund Report


  1. Finance → Financial Management → Reports → Summary → G/L → G/L by Fund
  2. Type in the fiscal year and funds you wish to view on the report.
  3. In the Range Tab, range accordingly if necessary.
  4. Click Select to view the report.


Select and Sort Tab

FIELDSOpt.Rec.Req.Description
Subtitle♦——An optional title given to the report
Fiscal Year——♦The fiscal year associated with the amounts
Fund 1-6——♦Enter the number of the fund each field represents; each fund will be shown on the report in columnar form
Type 7 Title 1—♦—If more than six funds will be represented, all remaining funds will be summed into this column; a title can be given to the last column to classify the fund(s) presented; enter the first line of the column heading to this line; other is often used as the first line of this column heading
Type 7 Title 2—♦—This field will be the second line of the column heading for fund 7
Select Major Fund♦——Set to true if you wish for major funds to be shown (Funds are flagged as Major under setup on the fund definition screen in Setup → Financial Reporting → Maintain Fund Definition)
