Create Journal ID for Journal Entries

What This Process Does
- This process is used to establish the Financial Journal IDs assigned during the Add Journal Entries process.
Requirements
- Journal Entries – Journal IDs is a required field when adding a journal entry.
Creating a Journal ID for Journal Entries
- Finance → Financial Management → Setup → Financial Management Setup → Journal IDs → J/E
- Click the blue Add button. A screen will appear to add a new Journal ID.
- Populate all Required fields and any optional fields that you would like to populate. Use table below to see which fields are required and/or recommended.

Definition Type | ♦ | – | – | The appropriate definition type for your organization |
