What This Screen Shows


  • Allows the user to assign a reference type to an account code for reporting and organizational purposes.
  • Ranging on reference type when running a report will show all account codes associated with that reference type.


Revenue Reference Master


  1. Finance → Financial Management → Setup → Reference Types → Revenue → Reference Master
  2. The initial browse screen shows four default reference types provided by the software.
  3. To view and maintain each type, click Select.
  4. If you wish to add a reference type, click the blue Add button.
  5. Each field for the reference type is provided and explained below:


FIELDSOpt.Rec.Req.Description
Delete This RecordMark this box as true if you wish to mark this type for deletion
Reference TypeThe name of the reference type
DescriptionThe description given to the reference type
Revenue TypeThe specific type of expenditure given to this reference type (ex. General Government, Public Safety, Health and Welfare, etc.)
Opt. = Optional  Rec. = Recommended  Req. = Required
