What This Process Does


  • Defines the ship to address where Items will be shipped when Issued out of Inventory.


  • If you are using the Purchase Order module, there is an option to copy your Purchase Order Site IDs to Inventory Control Shipping IDs. This is found under the maintenance menu via Procurement → Inventory Control → Maintenance → Purchase Order Sites to INVSHP


Add Shipping Identifications


  1. Procurement → Inventory Control → Setup → Add Shipping Identifications
  2. The field description below describes the fields on the Add INVSHP Screen.
  3. Populate and click the Save button.


FIELDSOpt.Rec.Req.Description
Shipping ID——♦Ship To identifier when items are Issued out of Inventory
Phone—♦—Phone Number of the Shipping ID
Name—♦—Name of the Shipping ID
Place Name—♦—Place Name of the Shipping ID. Examples are the Building Name or School Name
Route♦——A code associated with the Route the delivery person should follow for the Shipping ID; the route is usually used to make sure perishable items are delivered first; the route is not defined within OpenRDA, and only noted for delivery purposes; the route will print on the Pick and Packing Lists
Address Line 1 & 2—♦—Address of the Shipping ID
City—♦—City of the Shipping ID
State—♦—State of the Shipping ID
Zip Code—♦—Zip Code of the Shipping ID
