What This Process Does

  • Resets/Changes an OpenRDA User's Password.
  • NOTE: to change another User's password you must get the Code of the Day and put the Dev_License in place !

OpenRDA Set/Change User Password Reset

1.  Go to Any Module  System Administration Security → User Profiles

2.  Locate the Desired User's User Identification

3.  From Security Go to Maintenance → Set/Change User Password

  • Setwtpasswd Range Screen will open automatically

4.  Enter the New Password

5.  Range on the User Identification. (CRITICAL STEP!!!)

6. Click Select (Cog)

NOTE: If an OpenRDA user is NOT logged in as "rdacron"

To change/reset an OpenRDA password ~ they would have to Set a Cookie/Turn on DEV_LICENSE in OpenRDA 4.0 first, and that requires having the access code of the day.

To get the access code, they have to submit a Helpdesk ticket, so it is much easier for them to just submit a Helpdesk ticket to request OpenRDA password changes/resets.
