- This report produces a file that can be submitted via the internet to the RIR system.
- Files can contain either ERS (regular positions) or PFRS (Police and Firefighters).
Requirements
NYSLRS ID (Provided by NYSLRS )- Input in Personnel Demographics> Personal Tab >Third Party ID. (9 digit A/N)
EMPLOYMENT INSTANCE - Job data 2 digit number number provided by NYSLRS - (on Job)
NYSLRS EARNING CODE - Added earning code ( list of codes provided by NYSLRS and highly recommended the clients adding their own mapping. To be added to the Rate Masters
NYSLRS JOB CODE list provided to customer - To be added to Position masters - NY JOB CODE TAB
NYSLRS - requires initial load of biographical data and Job data for all employees - after this load is processed, going forward will be for only new hires.

Gather Biographical and Job Data
This process is used to gather job and biographical data for reporting to NYSLRS.
To report biographical data, the Third Party ID field in Personnel Demographics must be blank. This will be used to hold the NYSLRS ID. To report job data, a job must be marked as active and have the flag for Reported to NYSLRS as false. New jobs will have this flag set to false by default. If any changes to a job need to be reported, simply make the changes and turn off the Reported to NYSLRS flag.

Select and NYSLRS browse will display data, you can view, edit or add additional data if necessary. ( Browse can be defined using Define List to determine display)
You can have both types of data to be created in one file or you can create a file after each type of data is updated to maintain.
