Summary:
1) push Norma's new account codes into Breeze
2) index
3) Change Account Code to Delinquent Taxes on Accounting Setups for the current year Class Configurations
4) Rollover current year Class Configurations into next year
5) Create new Accounting Setups
6) Assign new Accounting Setups to rolled-over Class Configurations:


Detailed Instructions:
1) push Norma's new account codes into Breeze
  1. After Norma creates the codes in 4.0:
  2. log into 4.0
  3. Finance
  4. Financial Management
  5. Other
  6. Breeze Processes
  7. Build Breeze Account Codes
  8. set the flag (no need to Select and Range)

2) Index
  1. go to Administration Dashboard
  2. under the Initialization menu, click Index Searchable Data
  3. click the blue button Index All Annotated Domain Classes
  4. click Processes on the left
  5. the Index process will take approx 30 min and may slow down the system

3) Change the Account Code to Delinquent Taxes on the Accounting Setups for the current year Class Configurations
  1. go to Configuration Dashboard
  2. Class Configuration Core
  3. Accounting Setups
  4. filter Description column Contains: 2021 (or whatever the current year is)
  5. you should see the Accounting Setups for Real Estate, Personal Property, Machine & Tools, Merchant Capital, Public Service, and Mobile Home
  6. select the record for 2021 Real Estate
  7. right-click
  8. Edit Rev Accounting
  9. click the magnifying glass next to Account Code
  10. search for the Delinquent accounting code desired
  11. click Save
  12. repeat for the PP, Machine & Tools, etc

4) Rollover current year Class Configurations into next year:
  1. go to Configuration Dashboard
  2. Rollovers
  3. Class Configurations
  4. set Tax Year dropdown to current year
  5. verify the Tax Year and New Tax Year at the top is correct
  6. change BillableType dropdown menu to Personal Property Summary
  7. click Roll Class Configurations
  8. allow time for the process to finish
  9. change Billable Type dropdown menu to Personal Property Detail
  1. click Roll Class Configurations
  2. allow time for the process to finish
  1. change Billable Type dropdown menu to Real Estate
  1. click Roll Class Configurations
  2. allow time for the process to finish
  1. change Billable Type dropdown menu to Public Service
  1. click Roll Class Configurations
  2. allow time for the process to finish

5) Create new Accounting Setups,
  1. go to Accounting Setups
  2. click Add at the top-right of the TV
  3. Populate the fields based on the below screenshot for reference.



*Be sure to name the Description using the next year's Year (ex: 2023 Real Estate)
*Be sure to choose the next year instead of the current year in the Taxes Receivable Code field (ex: 2023 Real Estate Receivable)

Create 1 of these Accounting Setups for each new account code

6) Assign new Accounting Setups to rolled-over Class Configurations
  1. In the Accounting Setups TV filter the Description column contains "2023" (or whatever year you are setting up)
  2. open a new Breeze tab
  3. Class Configuration Core
  4. Class Configurations
  5. use the BillableType column to filter on the desired Class Configurations, then change the Accounting on them
    1. For example:
                     - filter BillableType contains "Personal Property Summary"
                     - highlight the records that you want to change to 2023 Personal Property (all except Machine & Tool and         
                        Merchant Capital) 
                     - right-click
                     - Change Accounting Setup
                     - change the Accounting Setup ID to the desired ID
                            or
                     -use the magnifying glass to search for the desired Accounting Setup by name
                     -repeat these steps until all Class Configurations have been updated. Use the columns to verify the new 
                        Accounting Setups (ex: add the RevAccounting ID column - soon this will be changed to Accounting Setups
                        ID. Review the ID numbers to make sure you didn't miss any.
