- go to the Real Estate Table View
- make sure Tax Year dropdown is set to 2023
- click Add at the top-right of the table
- click the Constituent magnifying glass and search name
- select name if available. If no name found, click Create New next to the magnifying glass. Set the Account Type, then fill out the required fields (First Name, Last Name, Mailing Address)
- Billing District: Incorporated Dacula
- Billable Type: Real Estate
- Class: click the magnifying glass, search and select Utility Property Tax
- Map ID: search "U006B" for example and select if available. Click Add to assign a new Map ID and Parcel Address. If a new Address needs to be added, click Add Address
- Acreage: 1
- Legal Line 1: use "U006B" for Example, or whatever used as Map ID (You can put any unique identifier or note here)
- click Add. A new browser tab should open where you will see details of the new record
- in the new browser tab screen, down in the Details section, assign the Improvement Value (AKA Building Value, or Property Value)
- click Save
- You have now created a Utility billable. Close the browser tab. You will compute charges and create statements later
- Repeat steps 3-14 for the remaining Utility accounts that need to be created
- To compute charges, go to the Real Estate Compute tab
- click the magnifying glass next to Compute Group
- search Utility Property Tax and select. You should see your Utility Property Tax billables in the table
- Override Due Date: set this to the desired Due Date
- click Compute Charges, then click Confirm
- Wait for the Process Information window to show "Completed" with the total amount charged. Then close the Process Information window
- click Verify Charges at the top
- select the Utility Property Tax record
- click Run Process
- Review and then close the report
- click Verify
- Wait for the Process Information window to show "Finished". Then close the Process Information window
- click Create Statements at the top
- Tax Year: 2023
- StatementGroup: Real Property, Sanitation, Utility (should be the first option)
- Statement Date: this is the desired date (usually today's date)
- select the record in the table
- click Create Statements
- wait for the notification, then click ok
- click the blue Transactions Dashboard button
- go to the Statements table view
- select the statements that you want to print, right-click, Print Statements. You may see more than 1 PDF per statement due to different addresses on the record
