This process is best used when there is an increase in the minimum wage or if wages for a certain group of employees needs to be updated.
Option 1: Rates of Pay stored at the Employee Job Level
If the employees' pay rates are stored at the Employees' Job Level, use the Change Misc Job Rate Amounts process found in the Payroll Module.
On the next screen, select the type of pay unit (generally Misc Unit Amount is used), indicate whether you want to increase the current rate unit by a percentage or by a specific dollar amount, and range on the necessary fields to select only those employees you want to change rates. This may take one or two different ranges to select all the employees who require adjustment.
Click select, then the next screen will allow the opportunity to review and adjust any Misc Unit Amounts before saving the changes. If the selection appears incorrect, simply abort and try ranging again.
For more information on this process, see Change Misc Job Rate in Mass.
Option 2: Rates of Pay stored in the Gross Rate Masters
If the employees' pay rates are stored in the Gross Rate Masters, go to the Position Tracking → Setup → Rates → Gross Rate Masters.
This will bring you up a list of all the gross rate masters that are set up in your system. Using the Magnifying glass in the upper left of the screen, you can range to narrow the list.
Since there is no mass process to change these rates, you will need to edit these gross rates one at a time. Once these are updated, the change will be reflected in each employees' job record. If you wish to have this process done with an import, please contact support@rdasys.com for a quote.
