What This Process Does
- Creates a text file (certification file) that will display at the bottom of the Check Register.
Requirements
- To create the text file (certification file), the user's security profile must have the Edit Text Browser set to true. (Preferences in Security > User Profile)
- In order for the printer to print the certification statement on the Treasurer's Report, the Print Driver must contain the POCERT pocrt.txt file.
- If you print to the screen (rdaout.lnx) before printing from your printer, the rdaout.lnx must contain the POCERT pocrt.txt file.
Check Register Certification Statement
- Procurement → Vendor Payments → Setup → Certification Statements → Check Register Certification Statement
- If you do not have a certification statement already entered on the screen, an error message will appear.
- Cancel out of the error message. You can paste a certification statement from another Word Processor or type in one manually.
- Click the Save button. A little box will ask what name you wish to give the file. Leave the file name as is and click Save.
- Click Cancel.
Certification Setup
- Below is a screen shot of the initial screen where you will type or paste in your certification statement.
Certification on the Check Register
- The screen shot below shows an example of a Check Register with the certification statement that was setup previously.
- The certification statement set up will be located in the bottom left corner of your Check Register.
